Privacy policy

The short version

We run analytics without advertising trackers, store the details you send us through forms, and sell nothing about you to anyone. All processing happens under the GDPR.

What we collect

• Analytics. We use PostHog Cloud EU, hosted in Frankfurt, to record page views, referrers, clicks on outbound affiliate links and form submissions. Events are tied to a random identifier, not your name, and we do not load third-party advertising trackers.
• Moving help requests. When you submit the lead form we store your name, email, moving timeline, optional message, your consent choice and any UTM parameters on the page.
• Newsletter signups. Your email address and where on the site you signed up.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.

Why we process it

Newsletter emails and lead follow-up run on your consent, given when you submit the form and withdrawable at any time. Analytics and security logging run on our legitimate interest in understanding what content works and keeping the site safe. We do no automated decision-making and no profiling that produces legal effects.

Who we share it with

Affiliate partners receive no personal data from us; outbound clicks carry only an anonymous tracking parameter. If you ask for moving help, your request is forwarded to the single partner needed to answer it, as stated on the form. Our processors are Supabase (database), PostHog (analytics, EU), Vercel (hosting) and our email delivery provider, each under a data processing agreement.

How long we keep it

Lead details are deleted 24 months after the last contact. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe; every email contains a working unsubscribe link. Raw analytics events are retained for 12 months, aggregated statistics longer.

Cookies

We set what is needed to run the site: an analytics identifier and your theme preference. There are no third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Mail hello@dubaiamsterdam.com and we respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your local EU data protection authority.
